Bought these for hiking in Brecon. Weather was very mixed so they were very handy and totally waterproof.

I like that the zips go both ways so it is much easier to put them on and take them off compared to other brands of over trousers. Very light and packs down small. But you do have to sacrifice some of the waterproofness as it won’t be as waterproof as a more heavy duty one. In all, good for light showers but not heavy downpours, but that is to be expected based on the 10,000 Schmerber rating.
If I were to buy another one I would definitely size up so it is roomier and easier to put on/take off while hiking.

Simple and do the job. In hindsight, I would have bought the ones with zips - it is a bit of a pain having to take your shoes/boots off . Also a simple elasticated waist - I think I’d have preferred a drawstring as well. Not saying the trousers aren’t worth it, just that I probably made the wrong decision for me.

Didn’t need to put them to use during my Snowdon Climb. Fit is good though.
