Perfect for what I needed
I needed a pair of easy and quick to put on waterproof trousers for the ring school run by bike. These are perfect. The zips make them super quick to put on and I love that they have velcro cuffs at the bottom, giving a nice secure fit and minimal fapping about. They fit well too, not too baggy but loose enough to slip on over trousers. The waist also stays secure in place - I haven't had any 'gaps' forming when bent over the bike.
So far I've used them in some pretty torrential rain, and they've remained fully waterproof. The zips down the leg also make getting them off when wet easy too, meaning I can slip them off before I get into the house and drip everywhere!
I did try these trousers on a wet walk too and they were equally as comfortable and waterproof. My only down side here was that I overheated easily in them, however is was a very mild day - so perhaps these are better for walking in wet and cold weather.
Overall i'm very happy and considering buying a second pair for my partner as the price is very good.
