Used them at the Isle of Skye
Use - wore these trousers for a week - they were breathable enough but reliably waterproof.
I was able to test them in two separate rainstorms - they were still waterproof throughout and the wind sort of dried me off as I walked. I wore shorts underneath and those were definitely damp after multiple hours of nonstop 90% downpour - but I still felt comfortable, they are windproof enough to keep your body warmth. The bottom and top sort get the most moisture so they needed to dry off after wearing them, and I did have some good weather in between the storms so I was able to let them air dry.
Fit - size S - when I first tried them on, the waist felt a bit tight but I didn’t feel that way at all when actually wearing them.
