Very warm! Its packable although quite bulky when packed still. The only thing really that made me think of reducing a star is I noticed down seeping some of the seams every now and then.

I bought this for a journey around Connemara over New Year 2024/25 and it was exactly what I wanted. Very warm, stylish and brilliant attention to detail as I have come to expect from this brand. I also loved the blue colour purchased. I am 6’1” and with a 44/46 chest so opted for XL which was perfect with a jumper underneath.

Let me start by saying this is not my first Mac in a Sac purchase. Have always found the product to be excellent and suits my personal need. I love the summit jacket my only slight complaint is the colour is lighter than I expected from the photos. But not to the point that I not going to wear it. The Sac is quite bulky in comparison to my previous jackets but again it’s thermal and to be expected. The size I always get a large am normally a size 12 but it allows for extra layers underneath. Would buy again
