The jacket is a great length to cover my body properly and not ride up when wearing with a bag. I love the elasticated cuffs which allow for quickly pushing them up to adjust temperature and the hood stayed up while running in the wind and rain. The fabric feels thicker than other running jackets I’ve used but it wasn’t so thick I sweated in it and it kept off the wind too. Fantastic jacket and I love the bright colour making me visible in the clouds

This jacket is the perfect run training jacket. The fit is slim but with plenty of movement and felt comfortable under a hydration vest as well as on its own. It has been highly waterproof in the rain we've had this year and has fully taped seams. I found it to be very breathable which means wearing in summer showers doesn't get me too hot. It packs away into its own pocket (A5ish size and squashes pretty flat) and can then be clipped onto a belt or pack with the press stud loop, but I pack it fits nicely inside my pack. It's very lightweight and has an adjustable wire peaked hood and keeps the wind chill at bay. It is my go to jacket for longer training runs and the only thing I would change is to up the HH to 10K to support race kit requirements. Then it would be my go to jacket for summer racing too.

I've used a Mac in a Sac Origin jacket for running for over a year so I was so excited when they launched the Venture jacket which is specifically designed for running. As soon as I opened the packaging, I was in love. Firstly, it's very light. My women's UK 10 is only 240 g. This means I have used the jacket not only out on the trails, but also for a city break. It takes up no weight or space in your running vest or suitcase and it packs away into an integrated pocket. The sizing is as expected and it is a flattering style. The construction also impresses me, this running jacket is of similar quality to much more expensive running jackets I've had.
I happened to be caught in a torrential downpour one of the first runs I used this jacket on. I was abroad so had my passport in my pocket (I don't leave it in hotels), I can confirm the passport remained bone dry. Everything performed excellently, I didn't get sweaty and the form fitting hood with a peak kept water from sneaking in my neck.
The neon watermelon is perfect for safety/visibility if you're out in the hills or running on roads, but I rate this jacket that much I would also love another one in navy for going to/from the gym, if I need a waterproof for work etc. It's super handy jacket and great value.

My favourite running waterproof, I don’t overheat when wearing it and like the bright colour easily seen on runs. Worn for fast 5km/10km runs all the way up to 55km runs! Great fitted hood feature for big winds
