Bought as a gift. Light, easily carried in a large pocket or bag and really warm. Surprisingly waterproof. Excellent product.

This gilet is so versatile. It packs up into a very small pack so can easily be put inside a shopping bag or large handbag. It is very light to wear and not bulky so when it is cold it is ideal for use as an extra layer under another coat or jacket. In milder weather it is great for putting on over a long sleeved t-shirt for some warmth when it is a bit windy. I purchased the Polar Packable Down Jacket with the long sleeves previously and liked it so much that I decided to purchase the gilet as well. I generally wear a size 10 but with these jackets/gilets I tend to go for a size 12 as I like them with a little more room for my comfort. I would have preferred these gilets to be reversible with different colours either side like the long sleeved down jackets. Nevertheless, I am very pleased to have bought it. Thank you Mac in a Sac!

Love the gilet. Great colour, definitely a little creamy rather than stark white. Because of its packability it’s thin, but absolutely great as an additional layer.

This is the third Alpine women's packabledown gilet I've had. I wear one everyday when walking the dogs. I particularly like the number of pockets they have - ideal for poo bags, treats,phone, spare specs, tissues and , at times, other bits and pieces. Keeping number 3 respectable (for a while!)
