Looks smart, extremely light, surprisingly warm for the weight and packs up small. Only downside is that down is difficult to wash without the feathers clogging.

I already had a pink gilet for walking the dog. I wanted one that was for non dog walking and this was perfect.

This is the 2nd alpine down gilet I have purchased. The reason for purchasing a second one is that I wanted to be able to use it in colder weather, wearing it over thicker winter jumpers etc. and as an extra layer under a jacket/coat etc. which just makes it that little bit more roomy. I generally wear a size 10 and having a size 12 does not swamp me at all. For anyone contemplating what size to select, I would recommend going up a size to what you would normally wear. It just makes the gilet more versatile. Hope my comments help.
