I have always been suspicious of padded gilets - all that artificial filling and makes me look like a Michelin man. I got introduced to the products via my sister in law and wow! Light weight, flattering and sustainable real down.

Looks smart, extremely light, surprisingly warm for the weight and packs up small. Only downside is that down is difficult to wash without the feathers clogging.
