A great breathable waterproof jacket that works

We've all had those jackets that give you the 'boil in the bag' feeling, this is NOT one of those, it works, I've used it and it kept me dry but the rain ran off & soaked my trousers! I'll wear waterproof trousers next time, lol

Ultralite Jacket and trousers

Having acquired both the trousers and jacket I was impressed enough to give them both a rating.

As a regular golfer I have struggled for years to find wet gear that is comfortable and allows the range of movement needed for golf. Although not explicitly designed for golf I decided to try the Mac in a Sac offering on the golf course. What a revelation! These are the first trousers I have worn that offer heat retention along with waterproof performance without leaving me dripping wit sweat underneath. I have loads of Gortex trousers over the years but this kit beats it hands down. As well as being super light, the taped seams ensure they remain watertight even in heavier weather.

Will be recommending it to all my golf buddies for winter or poor weather wear.
